Harold Kroto

Really enjoying this portrait from the Guardian today.

Professor Sir Harold Kroto on the day after his Nobel Prize was announced – he received the 1996 Nobel Prize for Chemistry along with Robert Curl and Richard Smalley for discovering fullerenes, spherical carbon molecules sometimes known as ‘Buckyballs’.

Certainly amazing origami designs which can viewed as reducing complex scientific discoveries in elegant paper folded shapes!
